Mar 2006: There's a whole new look at INSALATA'S in San Anselmo! Wait until you see it — the dining room is warmer in tones with a more intimate feel; the service is very special; and the food has a new look and taste. Congratulations to Heidi Krahling and all staff — great job!
Heidi graduated from Tante Marie’s Cooking School over 20 years ago and has made a spectacular place for herself in the culinary world. Not only does she run INSALATA’S restaurant and catering/take-out business; but she is an active contributor to her community. I am proud to say that many of her cooks are also graduates from Tante Marie’s.
Pictured above is Amy Klein making an absolutely delicious winter salad as well as my interpretation of the recipe—a great starter salad for this time of year.
